Special Ladies Luncheon: A great time was had by all. The food was delicious and the entertainment was thoroughly enjoyed. A thank you to Illustrious Potentate Tom Woodrow and Lady Linda for attending this special occasion.
Several of us had planned to attend the Potentates’
Ball in Toronto this past Saturday, however our travel plans were thwarted due
to the ice and snow storm. So, in a reaction to make lemonade out of lemons, I
decided to try a Potentates’ Ball – North, at the Club. An email went out, Lady
Diane coordinated a pot-luck and “BAM!!” we had a ball. Of course we observed
the same dress code as the official function and even The Potentate,
Illustrious Sir Tom Woodrow was able to join us (see photo) and personally sent
his regards (by phone). Thirteen of us shared in every way to make this evening
literally, a last minute success. A great time was held by all. Thanks to Noble McIvor for the photographs and Noble President Dave Hodgins for the information..

or if you’ve come out before, but have been away for a bit, please join us. The
friendship is always warm; the conversations lively; the lunches – always a
surprise, but – always delicious. At this past meeting, W. Brother Trevor Sykes
informed us of the Sudbury Shrine Club’s annual Vidalia Onion campaign. The
onions will be in mid-May. The cut-off date for ordering is April 5th.
To place your order, please call the Shrine Club 705-524-0335.
